Our Board
Paul Craig
Paul is the son of ex-SIM missionaries, Ken and Shirley Craig and has been a Baptist Pastor since 1980 and is passionate about meeting the needs of the homeless, widows and orphans, in Australia and Africa. Paul’s past board memberships have been with Wycliffe, SIM, Baptist Union of Vic. Advisory Board, Belgrave Heights Convention and the Franklin Graham Festival Melbourne.
He is currently a member of Hands at Work in Africa (Aust.) board and has occupied the position of Director of Ministries of MEL since 2014. Paul and his wife, Dawn, live in Sunbury, Victoria.Grad Dip Min.

Stuart Brown
Stuart has chaired the MEL Board of Directors since 2009 and served as director/chairman of MEL Vic (Entrust) for over 35 years. With a family background of mixed farming he has a wide experience in management of not for profit organisations including a rural co-op, transport logistics, local government and many Christian ministry organisations. He is a life member of The Leprosy Mission and long standing active member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Barry Borneman
Barry joined the Board in 2018. Barry has served with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1981 in various capacities including teacher, adult literacy, Kriol translation programme in the Northern Territory, field director, and CEO of Wycliffe Australia. He has dairy farming roots from Northern Victoria and now lives in Melbourne with his wife Margaret.
Dianne Male
A former Christian community radio station manager and a company director joined the MEL Board in 2019. Di has been an Advocate for Compassion Australia for over a decade, volunteers in various capacities and is a long term member of her local church where she serves in a number of roles. Di is married to Greg and they live in NSW.
